The product hunt meta has disappeared a long time back. If you're still putting your app in directories like product hunt or alternatives, you're doing it wrong.

You, me and others know that Product Hunt isn't just a directory to showcase and publish your apps/websites/startups/products, but a spotlight that has many benefits when it comes to the IT industry.

Nonetheless, all these alternatives are good, and thank you for gathering them all in one place.

You, me and others know that Product Hunt isn't just a directory to showcase and publish your apps/websites/startups/products, but a spotlight that has many benefits when it comes to the IT industry. Nonetheless, all these alternatives are good, and thank you for gathering them all in one place.

The value of Product Hunt is controversial. Founders spend a lot of time hustling for upvotes to reach the top spots, but the traffic they get might be comparable to a single Hacker News post. Perhaps the most valuable thing is the badge, but when everyone knows it’s earned through vote-pushing, who really cares about the badge anymore?
