After a lot of personal hardships over the past year, I can finally say that InvoicingAPI is ready for public use.

It's a platform where you can create beautiful, customizable and dynamic, tax-compliant invoices with payment links built in, so your clients pay you faster. In your dashboard you can see your payments and payouts to your bank.

This is just an initial release and plenty of features are in the pipeline, like an online builder, automated sending, 3rd party app integration, etc.

Congrats on the launch! This looks like it could be very useful.

I'd suggest changing your post title, though. When I use something that has sensitive financial data and a payment feature, I want to feel very confident. The title makes it seem like the company (or product) has had lots of ups and downs, which makes me nervous to use it until I find out that it's actually a reference to personal issues.

Maybe something like this would be better? "Show HN: Spent a year building a better invoicing API"

Looks like the server is getting hugged to death. Not good either.

Agree, my first thought was “an invoicing platform that has had problems sounds like something I want to avoid…”

And even though it’s about the rough year you’ve had from a personal perspective it highlights the fact that you are a sole developer and that your personal ups and downs got in the way of the product - which makes me cautious about long term viability.

I am a bit confused why I would pay 15 EUR a month for a invoicing API when I can pay less and get an entire invoicing platform that has a GUI to easily make invoices? There does not appear to be a reason for that listed.

There is nothing wrong with the product or idea, but I don't see a reason as to why. Even Stripe offers easy invoice creation.
