I'm thinking about launching an opensource shopping cart/booking system for restaurants and hotels and I have some doubts.
Background: I had the idea when, as usual, ordered a pizza from a local place. Since I'm lazy, I wanted to order it from bed using my phone, online. The thing is in Romania they don't use a service for ordering, so I visited their website. Bad news, their website wasn't responsive, even worse, the phone number was in an image.
The thing is I'm afraid that nobody will use it and I will just waste time for something useless.
As I said, I'm from Romania(and never lived elsewhere); I'm curious are small businesses like restaurants, pizzerias focusing on their own website or just use an external service?
