Ask HN: What is the best search engine for encrypted database

Hi all, we are working on a secure hosting service and as we will be implementing the search functionality soon, the eternal question "should we do it in-house or outsource it" was raised up. I am in favour of the latest but cannot find a proper solution for encrypted data hosted on Cloud platforms. What are your thought about it? Thank you all for your help.
