Ask HN: If someone invested $100k now for your startup, how would you spend it?

As little as possible or necessary.

For the hard working entrepreneur in the middle of nowhere midlands it sounds like “wohoo!” Salaries, rent, equipment, and now … tokens? Will devour that quickly.

The investment won’t be worth anything if it doesn’t carry through to revenue.

So I would have to say “infrastructure.” The most essential things to get to wherever the plan is going. Maybe keep 20% in cash for unexpected emergencies.

$100k really isn’t a lot unless you’re one guy working from home.

Don’t spend it on anything you don’t need!
