I have registered a software company (LLC) in the US with the knowledge that .com isn't available. If the business succeeds, I will try purchasing the .com domain. Now should I go for XXXhq.com vs XXXcorp.com vs XXXlabs.com vs XXX.software? Thank you so much!

Register them all and have them redirect to the one you like best. This will help if you change your mind later and want to use one of the others as the main domain.
