Longtime HN user here (since 2007)

I’m mapping practical ways HN uses AI in job searches—what truly moved the needle vs. what didn’t.

If you’re willing, please share: - Role/seniority/region (optional) - Top 1–2 AI workflows that helped, and the tools/models you used (incl. resume/cover-letter products) - Tools you used like Jobscan, Rezi Resume.io if anu - Where it helped most (research, resume tailoring, outreach) - Hiring managers/recruiters: how do AI-shaped applications read to you?

I’ve tried a few different apps. None of them worked worth beans

Do you remember the names of the apps? What sort of roles are you looking for?

Do you remember the names of the apps? What sort of roles are you looking for?

jobs.ai, web3.careers, a few others I just cancelled. contra.com or some shit. nothing zilch zero inquiries. iv'e tried dice, upwork and linkedin and all seem to be dead now unless you live in india.
