Ask HN: Is React still the go to front end framework to learn?

I haven't done frontend development since roughly 2015. I want to start deep diving into it again, but want to make sure I'm using a tool that's broadly applicable. Is ReactJS still the go to in 2025 to learn frontend development? I know all the AI tools can write pretty much anything for me, but I want to have an actual understanding of what code it is producing.
