Ask HN: Handheld Digital Writing Device

I downloaded ia writer on my android phone and have found it to be an excellent replacement for a journal/notepad. The problem is, I find all the other things on my phone distracting. Is there a device that is exclusively a digital notepad that's the same size as a phone?
