#2There are one-size-fit-all answers to spend money but not to reach consumers.
The short answer is that you have to be where your consumers are. Unless your product is a product hunt alternative or a product that will get your product to be #1 on product hunt, product hunt is either a waste of time or about 0.5% of a good marketing plan.
