Do you think OpenAI paid off Studio Ghibli, or If the Studio is plotting a massive lawsuit, as they've been quiet.

At the very least, the dozens of opportunistic GPT wrappers which are using the Studio Ghibli name to market themselves should probably reconsider their choices. The legality of AI training may be murky but trademark infringement sure isn't.

It's telling the original 4o image generation demo explicitly transferred the style to "anime."

It was the community who took that to its logical conclusion.

I don’t use ChatGPT - can someone check if it’s possible to generate images derived from Disney or Marvel character?

Is everyone’s copyright ignored or not.
