Ask HN: Which courses/classes are you excited about in 2025?

I'm thinking of signing up for one of David's courses: https://www.dabeaz.com/courses.html. I've heard they're intense and very well done.

Anyone have any other courses or classes (not necessarily tech-related) they're looking forward to in 2025?

Taking a 3-month Salsa dance class starting early January. I've never been good at dance so I'm low key kind of excited. Might meet someone, too, you never know :)

Still trying to get a food co-op off the ground here in Boston, and I am looking forward to the annual virtual conference of live videos that are basically the latest-in-industry news and updates about patterns and more others are doing from the Food Co-op Initiative:

MathAcademy was good but I just ran out of time every day to do it, and it was way too remedial for me. I was using it to learn advanced math relevant for my work, but it was taking me over stuff for standardized testing for high schoolers. The creator is active here and I sincerely think it’s a good product, but not right for me.

I am finally going to learn to play the Piano. I have tried in the past and found I really enjoy the practicing yet I would let life get in the way and fall off.

Walked into a drop-in salsa dance class at the Berkeley YWCA two decades ago.

Got hooked from the first class and it was a gateway drug to swing and argentine tango. Hope you have a good time.
