Ask HN: Any good open-source Metabase alternative for customer-facing analytics?

I'm using Metabase for embedding analytics, but the per-user pricing is too high, even if users are viewing the same dashboards or reports.

Are there any other open-source alternatives that work as well as Metabase and offer a similarly good-looking UI?

superset is and open source alternative that is comparable, alternatively other platforms such as Explo charge by user groups or customers such that a group of users viewing the same data and dashboards is only charges as 1 user

I know that Apache Pinot integrates with it directly, so if you need a backendian solution as well as frontendian, that's a powerful 1-2 punch.
