A while ago I remember seeing a thread in which a sort story was linked too. I can't remember it only what the story was roughly about:
A being (baby god) lives through every life on earth to learn how to be a decent god. After each death they remember themselves and are greeted by their parent/teacher.
Moral is, at least what I took away, to treat people with respect and understanding because they are actually you.
Either way if someone could link to that short story I would appreciate it, my googlefoo is coming up short.
