Data Scientist as a position is quite new and their roles are pretty much evolving still. In such a case, it is a little difficult to assess a salary offer for the position mainly since there are a few data points to compare with.
Any thoughts/inputs/answers on what range is a reasonable compensation for an entry level data scientist at an internet company based in the Silicon Valley ?
