I am considering developing an instant chat messaging application that utilizes PGP encryption, possibly as an open-source project. One of the key features would involve enabling key exchange exclusively through in-person interactions, ensuring that keys do not traverse the internet.

#2Why would you use something legacy like PGP? The state of the art is Signal protocol which is TOFU but you can also do in-person verification.
