Plain-text TODO lists and/or bits of paper for simpler me-only stuff or very short-term.

#3Balanced life is in the eye of the beholder. It is 3AM where I am at and I am churning through TODO items.
I just use a notepad for each day. Write down the things I must accomplish + a time estimate and then chug through them.
