And, if I want to remove parts of the page, https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/print-edit-we/olnb... which can save in MHTML format (one file, a zip archive container).
Another alternative is the paid level of pinboard.in, which essentially makes an archive copy of every page you bookmark and tag.
(And for all I know, there may be self-hosted versions of pinboard.in with the archive feature.)

#7I use Safari's built-in "Read Later" action.
If I want to save a page forever, I bookmark it. If the title isn't descriptive I change the title or add keywords. To find a bookmark I search my bookmarks.
I don't organize bookmarks into folders because it's unnecessary.

#8I wrote a browser extension that will send weekly digest of bookmarked links to complete your reading list. It's open sourced at https://github.com/joelewis/readmelater
I used to have a hosted version running at https://closetab.email but couldn't keep it running. Will look into hosting it again :)

#10A lot of the suggestions here are selfhosted. Mine are not.
The simplest is to use your browser Bookmarks/Reading List [1] feature. The best next free popular mobile/ereader friendly option is https://getpocket.com/en/
