When I was younger (30+ years ago) subliminal messaging was a huge hot topic and concern. I remember sitting in the cinema and trying to spot whether there were any quick screen flashes of Coca Cola or Pepsi.
However, now that we’re in a world of video-based social media and digital world, it doesn’t seem to be a concern. Is subliminal messaging still used? Is it illegal, and are there any recent or modern examples of it being used.
