#3I am building an overview of how to go from "Zero to Web App" via all the popular frameworks out there. Django, Flask, Laravel, Symfony ...
Each framework will be represented as a shell script which turns a fresh Docker image with Debian into a working web app with routing, templates and user accounts.
It is an open source project, but I am happy to pay for the scripts to be written.
If you want to write one of the scripts, hit me up!
I already did the Django one:
https://github.com/no-gravity/web_app_from_scratch
(It has routing and templates. Still needs the user account part)

I help startups with UX/UI and web design for their products, including design work for new and existing web apps, websites and landing pages. My background as a full stack developer and startup founder helps me come up with practical design solutions that balance usability, aesthetics, development effort and performance.
---
The best live example of my work is Checkbot (https://www.checkbot.io/), a browser extension that tests websites for SEO, speed and performance problems. The entire project is my own work including coding the extension itself, UX/UI design, website design (the desktop homepage is optimised to load in 0.7 seconds with only 0.3MB transferred), website copy, and website articles on web best practices.

#10I recently went from my full time programming job - doing mostly business and scientific software - to a freelance setup. I'm up for:
- game development
I would love to help out with custom engines and games!
- server-side code
- scientific applications
- core languages: C, C++, PHP, Javascript, some C# and Lua
- experience with: OpenGL/WebGL/HLSL, Cuda, SIMD
- performance optimization of existing code
- working in custom codebases
- researching solutions to algorithmic challenges
- web stuff: Websocket brokers, server-side rendering, vanilla JavaScript web apps, Three.js, Pixi.js
My current hobby projects are rolz.org (an online tabletop/pen&paper roleplaying site) and I'm also currently working on a C++ based web programming server with the goal of ditching both PHP and Node.js as my go-to server-side solution.Contact me at: udo@udven.com
