Ask HN: What are some side jobs/gigs to make some extra money?

Hey everyone, I'm kinda between a rock and a hard place. Without elaborating too much, I kind of need to make some extra money within the next couple months. Not looking for a get rich scheme, but something that could help bring in extra money to help around.

EDIT: Also sorry I forgot to include I'm not in the US.

Uber/Lift/Grubhub etc

Restaurant industry and basically any retail are hiring like mad

Amazon

Public transit/bus drivers

Do you have a truck? Snowplow drivers are making upwards of 200/hr in the northeast this year

I am in a small country there are 6 sport betting sites. I made a bot with selenium which got the betting dáta and found betting arbitrage opportunities regularly. Made some money before i got banned.

You can try handyman work. I just had to hire someone to do some work in the house, they charged me by project but my estimate is their hourly rate was close $100.

I don't have any handyman experience, but it something I think I could probably look into, for small stuff at least.

find what ? i read the idea but came up with my own technical solution.

obviously pairing bets is not easy and take some computation time but whatever.

Dont know OP but it can be build in a week or so.

Keep in mind betting sites have conditions for when you can take out money and they will make it hard sometimes.

It could be a business if one has enough government Ids (to impersonate) <- which i dont have so i had to give up on the main idea.

or perhaps you meant how they (sport betting sites) find what i am doing, well not sure i assume once you make some decent money its not relevant how you did it, they just wont allow it further..
