Ask HN: Will Amazon eventually own the entire cloud market?

While I upvoted because thus posed question deserves exactly this answer, I still find it interesting that someone would put a question out like this.

Since AWS basically started the category of "cloud computing", it has gone from 100% to a lot less (first number I found gives it 31%, Azure 20% and Google 7%). What's actually happening is the reverse, but that does not mean that AWS is not growing in absolute terms.

Amazon has already been overtaken by Azure in terms of open jobs.
