Excel is extremely useful for the times where I don't want to think about all of the complex rules that are in my head, and I just want to transform the data and export it for people to use.

If I need to do things on an automated basis at 3am over 1 million records with tedious logic, ok time to code it

"export it for people to use." you mean sending a csv/xls file ? Sounds alot like Tableau

Yes or hosting that csv somewhere in redshift/s3

Why would I use tableau for things that are not related to like "enterprise software" and "requirements"? Csv is perfect for teams that can read

I see, makes sense when you talked about redshift / s3. I was think about airtable actually, but i confused tableau and airtable.
