Ask HN: Cloudflare Was Down Again?

For the past 5-10 minutes Cloudflare sites have been showing errors for me. Same with some of my friends but not others (might be location based?). My website (tiblar.com shameless plug) appears to be working when I check the servers statuses. Anyone else having weird connection errors? Checked Cloudflare status and nothing has been reported

Same here. I'm in NC and several sites are showing Cloudflare 522 errors with the backend hosts. Somehow don't think it's the backends since they're several sites now.

It looks like it, comes back from time-to-time. Also seems location-based.

when I disable my VPN it works. Then when I enable it the site doesn't work. It appears to be only North America/East Coast

Same - I'm seeing Error 1016: Origin DNS error - You've requested a page on a website that is on the Cloudflare network. Cloudflare is currently unable to resolve your requested domain.

EDIT: 2:28Z it seems some functionality is back but certain files - namely our entire JS bundle! - are showing 530 errors

EDIT 2: 2:29Z said file is back, and that error code makes no sense, so I may have mis-seen

Thanks for posting, I was struggling to find the cause of our downtime.
