Ask HN: Was Daisie app successful in its marketing approach?

TechCrunch: "Actress Maisie Williams to launch Daisie, a social app for talent discovery and collaboration."

Maisie Williams started advertising Daisie before it came out, a huge number of people were waiting for it to be released, but after the release, I found out they probably can't keep up with the traffic load so they started to queue up users outside the app, and after sometime I got in and I saw an app similar to Instagram but slower and with a lot of bugs.

Also, they only released an IOS app.

I personally think a lot of advertising energy and potential is going to waste!
