Hello, thanks in advance for your time to view this article. I am founder of a membership based ecommerce company looking for advice on how I can successfully raise funding through crowdfunding. I started the business in 2014 as a wholesaler but over the years I have learnt quite a lot and pivoted my business model from B2B to B2C. The business model is currently working but I am financially strained. I have no assets to find a business loan, while angel investors or VC don’t exist in my country. It’s also been difficult to source from family and friends or find a reliable business partner. I strongly believe in the business and I am not ready to quit. I am looking to raise USD20,000 that I can repay with interest on a 2 year period (I am simply looking for someone to trust and give me an opportunity). Any advice on how I can successfully run such a crowdfunding project?
