Arctype is looking for a software engineer interested in building a truly great SQL client. We're a team of engineers who have worked at cutting-edge startups and enterprises. After struggling with terrible query interfaces at every job, we set out to build a best-in-class SQL client with built-in collaboration, version history, sharing, and more!

As a software engineer at Arctype you will work on every part of the product, from the database connectors to our visualization tools, to our SQL language parsers. You'll get to chat with users every week and see your changes go live and have an impact. Feature suggestions and product breakthroughs come from everywhere. At Arctype, if you can dream it you can build it (as long as users love it!). Compensation for this role includes a competitive salary, equity befitting an early-stage employee, and benefits.

Remora is an early-stage climate tech startup backed by investors like Y Combinator and Chris Sacca. We're building a device that captures the carbon emissions from a semi truck. We sell the captured carbon dioxide to concrete producers and other end users, helping companies earn new revenue while meeting their climate commitments.

Remora's founders include a former EPA scientist who pioneered mobile carbon capture during her PhD, and a former diesel truck mechanic who went on to build hydrogen and electric semi trucks for some of the world’s largest automotive companies.

We're rounding out our core team, and we're looking for mechanical engineers who learn quickly and care deeply about tackling the climate crisis. Climate change disproportionately impacts communities of color, so we're particularly looking for engineers who have demonstrated a commitment to racial justice. Everyone on the team earns the same exact salary ($80K!) and everyone owns significant equity.
