Singularity (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/singularity-dock-anchor/id6791...), a tiny menu bar app that stops the macOS Dock from jumping between monitors. There's no API to pin the Dock to one screen, so it just keeps your cursor off the bottom edge of the others and the Dock has nowhere else to appear. No Dock icon, no sub

I've been working on a private, paid, ad-free and personally customizable search engine: Uruky [1]. To signup you don't provide any information (a randomly-generated account number is assigned to you), and you can run a proof-of-work captcha to get 2h for free. You can choose among many different search providers (for defaults and per query), including Uruky Site Search, powering our own index. Last month we reached…

Regarding discoverability, have you tried indexing in Bing Webmaster Tools? From what I understand ChatGPT's search runs on Bing's index.

I'm working on my game "Teufelskreis", a roguelite roulette deckbuilder. Think Slay the Spire meets Inscryption meets Balatro meets Buckshot Roulette. https://s.team/a/4652150 Solo project I've been chipping away at for a while now. I finally wanted to dip my feet in gamedev and it's been super fun with Godot so far! Hoping to release the trailer very soon :)

Looks really good. I'm going to favv'e soon as I get home... i might drop you a line with a few questions, if that's OK.

I've been looking for a plugin for "AI inpainting" for Gimp3 but couldn't find any that really works? Which seems weird? Anyway, I decided to make my own. Functionally it's pretty simple: you manage prompts and image model (on Openrouter), and then send a layer with instructions for modifications by the model. But it turns out fine-tuning the UI to make it as simple as possible takes some time.

Will release it on ShowHN when ready!

I got laid off at the end of April and have been building my own personal dream tool since, it's a skeuomorphic carpentry simulator with an agent MCP. You start with real wood specs and a shop full of miter saws, router tables, table saws and the like. Think of it like Sketchup but no extruding rectangles. It's been really fun to build with. Agents can create parametric procedures so e.g. stick framing becomes a simp…

This is absolutely fantastic. Bravo. I'm excited to use it!

Please consider adding metric measuremts support though. My brain can't work in fractions of an inch.
