# Full-stack javascript engineer [REMOTE, FULL-TIME]

Remote position for an early full-stack engineer at a seed-stage startup, working on investment literacy. Role provides high level of autonomy and ownership building end-to-end features in a wrapped mobile javascript app (Preact, Node.js, PostgreSQL). Candidate should be able to identify 80% of impact that requires 20% work, and stay focused on the current needs and scope of the application.

At least 3-4 years of full stack development experience at a technology company (preferably consumer) is required. It would be important to understand how to build apps that work on multiple devices that have very little edge cases and weird states. Experience with react is strongly recommended.

Typically work happens during 7:00-15:00 EST timezone, at least 3-4h overlap is desirable.

Archimedes is an early stage startup out to create a trusted platform for people to learn investing and make it a bigger part of their lives. Our users will learn in a fun and accessible manner through engaging content. We believe that the journey to become a more informed investor shouldn’t start on social media or google.
