# Full-stack javascript engineer [REMOTE, FULL-TIME]

Remote position for an early full-stack engineer at a seed-stage startup, working on investment literacy. Role provides high level of autonomy and ownership building end-to-end features in a wrapped mobile javascript app (Preact, Node.js, PostgreSQL). Candidate should be able to identify 80% of impact that requires 20% work, and stay focused on the current needs and scope of the application.

At least 3-4 years of full stack development experience at a technology company (preferably consumer) is required. It would be important to understand how to build apps that work on multiple devices that have very little edge cases and weird states. Experience with react is strongly recommended.

Typically work happens during 7:00-15:00 EST timezone, at least 3-4h overlap is desirable.

We're primarily focused on enabling merchants to accept payments, and we build a number of tools including POS devices (similar to Square). As a company we've primarily operated in European markets and Brazil, but we're hiring in the US to build out our Global Expansion team which will be responsible for establishing new markets including the United States.
