MethaneSAT | US Remote (remote-first) | Full-time | https://www.methanesat.org/

* Senior Front-End Engineer: https://www.edf.org/jobs/senior-front-end-engineer-methanesa...

* Back-End Software Engineer: https://www.edf.org/jobs/back-end-software-engineer-methanes...

* Infrastructure Software Engineer: https://www.edf.org/jobs/infrastructure-software-engineer-me...

Reducing methane emissions is the single fastest way to slow the rate of global warming today. In order to reduce emissions we first have to know where they're being emitted and who is responsible. The most effective way to do this on a global scale is from space, which is why we're launching a satellite to measure and attribute methane emissions. We are building tools to put in the hands of folks who will best be able to make the data actionable.

MethaneSAT is part of EDF, the Environmental Defense Fund.

Sock Club (and Banner Goods) | Senior Software Engineer | Austin, TX | FULL-TIME, REMOTE, https://custom.sockclub.com and https://sockclub.com and http://bannergoods.com

How we buy goods is shifting it's reorganizing from around the automobile to around the smartphone and desktop. Sock Club has grown organically from a D2C e-commerce brand to a custom socks manufacturer and now to a service and design focused e-commerce experience. We are targeting the huge dinosaur industry of corporate gifts and promotional products. It’s an industry where service and design can separate us from other companies and where behemoths like Amazon can’t compete. We already have a service and design team that delivers a high quality experience to our clients. We are building a development core to build a web experience and software tools to make it so that team (staying the same size) can deliver the same experience to 10x the number of clients. If you're interested in this opportunity contact me at dane@sotmclub.com.

Flyp Homes | London, UK | ONSITE / HYBRID (flexible WFH) | https://flyp.co

Growth Engineer. Full stack node/react. UX. A/B Testing

If you've ever sold a home in the UK then you have likely felt that no one in the process had any incentive to help you. Flyp is changing that by building a business that partners with homeowners to help them realize the full potential of their investment into their home, even as far as through renovations to the home.

We're a profitable business and are scaling our operations throughout London and the UK, and to do that we need to be a lot better at educated potential customers on what we do. This role is to help us build apps that can explain how the UK residential real estate market works, how we help homeowners get the most out of it, and how they can better understand the value of their home.

Jam | Senior fullstack engineer | Remote

Hey HN! I’m Dani, the CEO of Jam (https://jam.dev), a new dev tools startup building a new way to capture and debug frontend bugs - here's a 90 sec video: https://youtu.be/iXjmUwZLzVs. We have raised $10M+ from the CTO of GitHub, CTO of PagerDuty, CEO of Cloudflare, etc., and are growing quickly. We're a team of strong generalist engineers (mostly early ex-Cloudflare) and we're looking for someone with experience building highly performant front-end apps. The stack is fullstack javascript - react/typescript front end, and node/graphql backend. Every engineer on the team works fullstack. Would love to chat if that sounds interesting to you. You can reach out: dani@jam.dev.
