Greetings,

I have been working as a Full-stack engineer with a good focus on front-end.

I have built and architected MVP webapps with teams and led projects to add more functionalities to the MVP apps on internal and main products on mobile and web-apps.

- I have experience working with remote teams for more than 3 years now. This includes clients from Canada, USA. I have built their Android/iOS app with React-Native, and hospatility management job portal, respectively. This was built with Python, Django, GraphQL & Apollo client on front-end with React and Typescript. I maintained the component repo as a separate library to support the main app.

I've worked with a startup from initial phases to build audio-video conferencing web app using Agora's SDK for WebRTC and RTM channels with React.js, Redux, Google Firebase with Node.js, Express.js on backend. I have also led a support tool project here.

I am currently working at a SaaS product-based company. Architected and built the Reporting system with custom stack replatforming from the previous service provider, Looker. Tech stack here is React.js, MobX, Node.js+Express.js based Sails.js server with MySQL and ElasticSearch DBs.

SEEKING FREELANCER | US BASED | REMOTE

I'm looking for someone to act as a part-time project manager/scrum master/jack or jill of digital trades.

Initial tasks would include:

- grooming a trello based kanban board, adjudicating bug reports and elaborate feature requests along with CTO and founder.

- formulating acceptance criteria and carrying out acceptance testing for work items in a local development environment and deploying code to gcloud.

- run ad-hoc scripts when requested and perform ad-hoc sql queries to answer questions the founder might have.

Able to pay $50-75 per hour depending on experience and imagine this starting as a 15 hour a month job growing to quarter or half-time within a year. If the person is able to take on additional responsibilities (either managerial or as a coder), the rate could go up $100 per hour.

I imagine this would be a good role for a young person starting out or even in school, a stay at home parent looking to supplement their income, or a retiree looking to keep their hand in the game.

Preference given to folks in the NYC metropolitan area.

contact me at rmoskal+kanban@mostmedia.com.

SEEKING WORK | REMOTE | (UTC +7)

Remote: Yes, 9 years of remote experience, as a lead developer as well

Willing to relocate: Yes

Résumé/CV: http://www.loskutoff.com/resume.pdf

Availability: Full-time, although 30h/week is a bit more favorable

Email: igor [at] loskutoff.com

Upwork profile: https://www.upwork.com/fl/upwork

Have built web apps from scratch and have improved existing ones. Good at reworking existing poor/insufficient solutions.

Made (backend) apps/components with Typescript (Node, various incl. Next.js, Meteor), Rails, Java (Dropwizard), and small-ish apps with Scala (Akka HTTP), Rust (Hyper). With SQL (Postgres, MySql, Oracle), Mongo, Redis, and Elastic Search for Data storage layer.

Made (frontend and mobile) apps with Typescript-ed React (+React Native), Redux, Mobx, GraphQL/Apollo, Angular

Deployed components with Jenkins (+Ansible), DigitalOcean Apps (+Docker), GitHub Actions, AWS (Beanstalk), Heroku

Made components work together with the AWS stack (DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda/API Gateway), RabbitMQ, Zookeeper

Collaborated using such tools as Git (Github), various task trackers/boards

An ethic I’m looking for in a team is “I’m going to build upon this [code, infra, solution] in a year from now; will I thank myself then?”. Seeing solutions through; product-oriented.

Enthusiastic about: FP, Haskell, Rust
