ML Ops (MLOps for the keyword searchers)

I specialize in streamlining machine learning workflows and procedures. Want to iterate faster on your ML development? Replace your manual process with an automated workflow? I can help you out. I'll review your process, make suggestions appropriate to your situation, and implement them to your satisfaction.

I've worked with companies large (helped develop and maintain the ML platform at Airbnb, serving hundreds of models) and small (small startup iterating on a single model with no automation yet).

I've worked with a range of technologies (go, python, C++, java, javascript) and can adapt to whatever you use.

Email is in my profile.

SEEKING WORK | Colorado, USA | Remote, any timezone

I have 15 years of experience building full-stack web applications. My original background is in robotics and embedded systems, but I moved to web apps after realizing their potential. It's been a wild ride and a pleasure to see tech progress over the years, and it's only going to continue getting better. I seem to have a knack for winning design patterns, as I was building web apps with my own React-like library before React existed. I also have years of experience in game development, plus some dabbles in machine learning, crypto, and fintech.

I prefer a minimal TypeScript + React + Node.js JAMstack, but it all depends on (the best tools for) the job. I'm a quick learner and will enjoy working with just about anything.

If you're looking for someone to help you quickly reach your goals, build your app(s), and take your business to the next level, I would love to help you do that. I've worked with teams to build apps for online stores, education services, cloud storage, medical equipment, gaming, blogs, machines in remote locations, chat bots, search engine optimization... you name it and I've probably done it. Side projects of mine range from an open source browser extension for automating end-to-end tests without code (see TestFront.io) to a new approach to email designed to eliminate unwanted mail, while never missing the important stuff (see TricepMail.com).

If you're looking to build a custom cross-platform app, designed for teams, to scale, and with the future in mind, you may be interested in my latest startup, Molecule.dev. It allows you to quickly assemble all of the core functionality you need, saving you months of development time and tens of thousands in development costs. (You may also skip straight to the assembler at https://assemble.molecule.dev.) Your Molecule includes incredibly thorough documentation, tutorials, and step-by-step instructions so that everyone on your team always has exactly what they need. If you're unsure about what you might need, contact me and let me know you're building. Currently available options are as follows.

    Language: TypeScript, JavaScript
    Renderer: React, Vue, Angular
Database: PostgreSQL, SQLite, Firebase, MongoDB (plus Redis caching, if necessary)
    Cross-platform Support: Capacitor, Cordova
Platforms: Web (PWA), Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, Linux
    UI: Styled-Components, Tailwind, Ionic
    Themes: Light, Dark
User Authentication: JSON Web Tokens (with automatic refesh and CSRF prevention), OAuth, WebAuthn (biometrics, yubikey, etc.), also includes a device manager
Push Notifications (Quick setup for every platform)
Payment Platforms (Quick setup for every platform): Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, possibly crypto soon
Emails: Sendmail, Mailgun, SendGrid, AWS SES
File Uploads: S3 Bucket, File system
App Deployment: Netlify, Render, Vercel, Cloudflare, AWS Amplify
API Deployment: Heroku, Render, AWS API Gateway
    Package Manager: NPM, Yarn
    Documentation: TypeDoc, JSDoc
    Unit Testing: Jest, Mocha
    Logging: Loglevel, Winston
The Molecule core is open source and available at https://github.com/Molecule-dev.

Feel free to contact me at hn2201@fullstacked.services or by submitting your information via https://assemble.molecule.dev.

If you are looking for a consulting- or contract-based resource, I am interested and open to take on projects of many varieties. Over the last 10 years, my professional experience has touched on Education, Professional Consulting, IT Management, E-Commerce, and I hold my MA in English teaching. I have led multiple successful development teams within the companies I have worked at, on projects of large complexity, some with millions of users and in revenue.

As a side project, I created https://awayto.dev, a free open source web application generation platform. It uses React, Redux, Material UI, NodeJS, Typescript, Webpack, Postgres, AWS Cognito, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, as well as my own custom scripts. SEEKING WORK

Location: UK

Remote: Yes

I’m a programmer with >10 years experience, primarily working remotely on a freelance or contract basis. My recent experience is around probabilistic programming language research, but I’d be happy to work in any technically interesting domain. I’ve done mostly Python, Javascript and a some Haskell recently, but I’m willing to switch languages as necessary. I have a growing personal interest in FPGA/RISC-V/embedded so would also be interested in opportunities to gain experience with those.
