Modern Advisor | Full Stack Developer | Vancouver Canada or Remote (within Canada only) | Full-time/Contract | Salary range CAD $80-130k | https://www.modernadvisor.ca/

Modern Advisor is a leading Canadian digital advisor platform based in Vancouver, Canada. ModernAdvisor is part of Guardian Capital Group.

Our current tech stack is Ruby on Rails with an AngularJS front end and MySQL DB. Everything is hosted and run on AWS. We currently have a team of 5 developers and are expanding to take on new projects. We will be leveraging our existing platform to bring digital experiences to Guardian Capital Group and its subsidiaries.

Experience in Ruby on Rails/AngularJS/Javascript are helpful but not required as long as you are willing to learn.

All our developers are involved in taking features from ideation through design, development, testing, deployment and support. This provides a great way to expand your experience and be involved in the full development lifecycle. As a small team we are always looking at ways to improve our process and automate as many tasks as possible. If you have ideas that would benefit the team and company you can take ownership of it and see it deployed and used by our clients. We ship to production multiple times a week.

Generally all of our developers work on both front end and back end. However if you have a particular interest in UI/UX that could be beneficial. Experience with Dataphile API or system is a huge bonus.

If you are interested in fintech and would like to learn more email me at anthony+hn@modernadvisor.ca with some info about yourself.

ruumi | Berlin, Remote | Full-time | Frontend, Mobile | https://www.notion.so/ruumi-jobs-86745c0df9834395b27f018fec8...

At ruumi we help farmers with rotational grazing: a managed grazing technique that regenerates soil, increases biodiversity, minimizes agro-chemicals, and improves profitability at the same time.

We are bringing multi-spectral and radar satellite imagery, geo-spatial tech, and machine learning to regenerative agriculture. We tell farmers actionable insights for example: when and where to move their animals to maximize soil regeneration.

We are looking for someone to work with us on web and mobile applications. For the frontend we are using Typescript, React and Redux; for the backend we are using Typescript and Express.js.

Opus Agency | Advanced Entry Level to Mid Level HTML, CSS, JS | REMOTE but OR/WA candidates probably preferred | Full Time

My employer is looking for a Digital Configuration Specialist. We manage corporate events for large businesses and we use a large variety of event registration and event content platforms to do so. This role will be the person who learns these platforms inside and out, how to configure them, how to collect and manage the data we need from registrants, and to style them with HTML and CSS. Good JavaScript and jQuery knowledge is also important because we're often adding custom behavior to these platforms on top of what they already provide.

Opus has a great team, the team this role is on specifically is very supportive and hard working has some smart, talented, experienced people on it.

You're likely not going to be making websites from scratch. The vast majority of the work will be customizing existing templates provided by platforms. This can get especially complex in many ways, but it's stuff you really just have to learn by doing. Because of this, I think this role is well suited for someone with strong HTML/CSS/JS skills but doesn't necessarily have a lot of work history with that tech and isn't necessarily an established developer. I would recommend having a portfolio of some stuff you've built to demonstrate your skills, and be prepared to talk about it.

Achievers | Staff Engineer (Data) | Remote Ok (Canada or US Preferred. We're based in Toronto Canada) | Full Time | https://www.achievers.com/company/

We’ve recently started building the next evolution of our data infrastructure with a focus on self-service for our domain-based feature teams. We are extremely excited to be implementing the data mesh architectural paradigm with the bulk of our data being produced by event logs from our microservices. We are in a period of research and development with a potential green field implementation and I can’t imagine a better time to join our team.

We're a pretty big GCP and Python shop so experience there is a happy bonus.

Zumo Labs | Product Manager | Remote Only | Full-time

We are a platform for generating 3D synthetic data. Our mission is to democratize computer vision training data by providing the easiest way to make your own diverse, unbiased, high-quality data, and lots of it.

We are looking to hire our first product-minded individual. We are currently a small, technical team and are looking to shore up our product blind spots, so early stage startup experience would be a plus. As this space is fairly nascent, there are a lot of paths before us for product-market fit - it will be your job to help discern this!

Prior experience with UX design and small startups are nice to have, but we'd be excited to talk to any motivated candidate who is as excited about this space as we are!

Email me with any questions: kory@zumolabs.ai

Thanks!
