Working at gitlab sounds amazing! I have a question about your compensation calculator however: it seems employees are penalized for living in areas with lower cost-of-living. It looks like you pay someone in San Francisco almost 2x what you pay someone in Vancouver. Why is this? Is the SF employee worth 2x the Canadian employee?
