Which is generally true. Why is this such an issue. Computer Science PHDs are on average definitely smarter than web developers. I think this comment and the ones above are a micro example of the politically correct culture we live in. Why cant someone make a statement about the advantages/difference in traits between two groups of people? Is this so dreadful?

Depends on context. If you actually want something built I'd take the Web Dev any day.

Agreed. For overseas jobs, (especially with this many locations) it would be really nice to get a sense of the pay, relocation assistance, and any support with getting necessary Visas that might be provided.
