SEEKING WORK | Remote | CET Location: around 46/14 In past 20 years did many different projects, mostly worked with teams 1-5. 60% of projects were related to sport and TV, rest was various other fields. I was jumping between leading, architecting, designing, programming and things in-between :)

Last years I programmed mostly in C# (web services, aspnet, razor, ...) also desktop apps (WinForms, WPF, Avalonia), JS/Typescript (mostly for gui, I enjoyed mithril and now SolidJS). I also did some c++ for various small integrations (for example some plugin for Godot, some ffmpeg, ...) and lately studying Rust. Mostly worked with GPC 70% , AWS 20%, other 10%.

I like to make GUI/backends that makes sense, are easy to understand (test with users) and performant/fast. Also to last years, with minimum dependencies.

I also have experience with live events setup for small broadcast of events, networking experience

I did tons of remote support with people around the world, also know how to use this information to make better programs (or design...).

I do not have any experience with AI.

Looking for 20-100 hours per month.

SEEKING WORK | Berlin (CET/CEST) | Remote | Senior Full-Stack & Cloud Specialist

I’m a senior developer and infrastructure consultant with 15+ years of experience

— available for part-time work (24h/week). I help teams move fast without breaking things, bringing deep infrastructure expertise alongside strong full-stack execution.

What I Do Best:

• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS (primary), Azure, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, Serverless, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, etc.)

• DevOps Workflows: Monitoring, cost reduction, zero-downtime deploys, secure secrets management, staging/preview environments

• Full-Stack Development: Node.js, React, React Native, Next.js, Tailwind, Postgres, MongoDB

• Delivery-First Mindset: Recently helped a client setup up CI/CD, staging, and production environments via Kubernetes — from scratch to deploy — in just 3 weeks part-time

What I’m Looking For:

Teams with meaningful technical challenges — ideally past the MVP/PoC stage and ready to do things properly. I’m most effective where there’s a need to scale infra, clean up dev workflows, or modernize architecture.

Engagement Style:

• Part-time (24h/week)

• Open to short/middle term high-impact contracts, retainers, or embedded support

• Happy to mentor as part of the engagement

Projects: • deepstream.io – Real-time messaging infrastructure (co-founder)

SEEKING WORK | local or REMOTE

Location: Africa or REMOTE

Willing to relocate: yes, to any location in Africa, where I can get the necessary permission to live and work. Occasional travel is possible.

Technologies: Linux, Front or Backend Web Development, General Software Development, System Administration.

Résumé/CV: on request (software development, CTO, mentoring, training, fluent in English and German, german citizenship)

Contact Email: see profile or http://codingforafrica.at/

Like this Ask HN: Recommend employers with positive social impact [https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=31518945], I am looking for similar work, but I am open to work on any interesting project. I am a European software developer who has lived and worked on four continents. Now it's time to move on and so I am in the process to relocate to Africa.

I have more than a decade of experience running a company, doing software development, support and training and mentoring adults and students, as well as working on educational projects, and I am willing to take on a mixture of roles as needed to support a project.

I value good teamwork over fancy tech, and I don't shy away from working on legacy code. I am primarily motivated by solving problems, so let me help you solve your problems.

I am open to work for companies anywhere as long as the work can be done fully remote from Africa.

While I could find a job elsewhere I believe that the experience living in an area where my work is going to have an impact gives me a better understanding of the needs of the location I am serving. Whether it is through direct contact with clients and users or just by being part of a local community and learning about the reality of living there.

In addition, I want to use some of my income to hire local interns and junior developers and train them in order to pass on my experience. I also sponsor children that otherwise can't afford to go to school (see my website). If you want to support this, I would love to work with you. Also if you are interested in hiring African developers yourself. I can help you build up your team.

SEEKING WORK | The Netherlands | Remote (anywhere)

I have almost 10 years experience with Python/Django and worked with many tools/technologies/libraries related to it (Vue, pytest, various CI/CD tools, docker, htmx, alpine, websockets etc). I especially love to dive into odd bugs and optimize slow queries/functions. I am a big fan of testing and documenting.

I maintain a few applications for clients (as the sole developer), but can also work well within a team.

My Github profile with some open source work: https://github.com/GDay. I maintain a fairly popular background worker for Django and have open sourced one of my SaaS applications.

SEEKING WORK

Location: Lyon, France

Remote: Yes

Email: achenet@fastmail.com

I'm an experienced backend developer currently working for a large web hosting company, looking for a nights and weekends gig to learn new things and make a bit of spare cash.

I've got a fair amount of web development experience, I've written a ton of Go for my day job, I'm quite familiar with Postgres and MySQL and I've played around with Rust, Elixir, Zig, and C.

Because my primary motivation is learning, I have a "pay what you'd like" pricing scheme for my freelance work.

You contact me with a project, and if I accept it, you only pay me if I deliver something that has helped you, and you chose a price that reflects how much my work has helped you.

The one thing I do want, however, is feedback. If you didn't like it, you have to tell me why, with as much detail as possible. If you really liked it, I'd also appreciate you taking the time to tell me what your favorite parts were.

In terms of tasks, I'm open to anything, I'm mostly doing this to learn (although, obviously, money is nice too ^_^)

SEEKING FREELANCER | Remote | Integration Engineers, Content Writers

IPLocate is on a mission to provide developers with reliable, affordable, and easy-to-use IP address intelligence - geolocation, threat data, network information and more.

We're looking for engineers to write SDKs and integrations to use our APIs with popular programming languages, frameworks, and tools. We would prefer to work with multiple folks who are experts in their respective language/framework rather than a single engineer to write 20 integrations, so we'd love to hear about your experience.

We're also looking for content writers to help write practical tutorials, step-by-step guides, and real-world use cases for our website and blog, and for publication elsewhere (e.g. Medium, Dev.to).

Details and contact links: https://www.iplocate.io/build-for-iplocate

(We've recently launched this page as an open offer to interested folks. Get in touch with your details and we're happy to formalize an offer.)
