I'm not looking but I am curious and maybe someone here can tell me the conversion rate of topics like this ?

Some of the job postings here are amazing on paper, but they never actually seem to materialize into a response. Not to brag, but I'm usually very over qualified and apply because I like the idea of a startup environment and I'm financially secure. Wondering how the other side feels.

Hiring is hard. From the company side, you might be a small company looking at a pile of 1000 resumes. It’s not tractable to send a personal response to everybody.

Nobody has the conversion rate numbers. I’ve hired excellent engineers through this channel though.
