I'm a mid-senior level software engineer and a caring human. I am highly proficient in Ruby, Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js, SQL, fairly proficient in React, C#/.NET. I'm a product-oriented generalist who masters whatever tool he uses to deliver customer value and build great product.

I would invite you to read my resume and give me a call. You'll notice I have 4 years of experience, but what I have managed to do with that experience has been exceptional. What most people do in about 8 years, I have condensed down to 4. I've always been highly valued by my teammates.

To get this out of the way: I left Prime Trust because the company went bankrupt, and I am leaving DeepL to move back to Salt Lake City to be with my partner. Both are (were) extraordinary companies that I would have loved to spend years at. Unfortunately, sometimes life takes you another direction. I'm looking for the company I can help grow and grow with for the next several years.

Technologies: persuasion, policy and reputational capital -- more than 20 years of it. I'm the guy you hire when your org needs support and understanding with local, state or federal government audiences, when you need to build (or defend against) grassroots armies or when you just need to sell into the .gov space. Full-stack comms background that includes PR, marketing, public affairs, consultative selling and more. Tech-savvy enough to work in that environment, but not limited to it.
