I'm a Full-Stack software engineer with over a decade of experience. Lately I've been advocating for a revival of fast and dynamic MPAs in favor of complex frontend toolchains, but know when they're the right tool for the job.

Big on testing, async communication and fast feedback loops.

I'm Wayne, a software engineer based in Portland, OR.

Most recently I built Herald, an open source application that simplifies deployment of a full observability pipeline, condensing a complex multi-application deployment (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Fleet Server) into just a few simple steps.

You can view the full technical case study where I discuss the use case, design decisions and implementation challenges of building Herald here: https://herald-app.github.io

I have been working as software engineer for more than a decade. On the last two roles I worked under DevOps, Archihect and SRE hats as well. I have most experience in the health and telco industries. Having worked both with very early statups and 100k people organisations I must say I would prefer the flexibility and innovation of the statup with stability of the enterprise, if possible. While I do prefer python stack I have extensive experience with GO and C/C++ as well, due to some underlaying infra work (ML and concurrency).

Looking forward to your messages!

Role: Growth PM or Growth Marketing Manager Location: Brazil (ET timezone) Remote: Remote, hybrid Willing to relocate: Yes Résumé/CV: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mateuspinho/ Email: mateus.ap@gmail.com

As a Growth Marketing leader I’ve spent 7 years leveraging technology and data to help SaaS startups scale and successfully raising over $170M with Softbank, General Atlantic, Google Launchpad, World Bank IFC and other VCs. I’ve spent the past year as a Product Manager at a B2B SaaS Martech startup backed by Craft Ventures, GTM fund, and others.

Even though I lead teams of 15+ people I still like to contribute as an IC. My very technical background as an electrical engineer enables me to be very comfortable with data (SQL, Sheets, Google Data Studio) and even some coding.

I'm Kowshik Islam, a Toronto-based software engineer with a knack for building scalable and efficient solutions. I co-created Herald, an open-source observability platform for distributed applications, and spearheaded initiatives in automatic provisioning, microservices architecture, and containerization. Prior to Herald, as a self-employed developer, I contributed to the open-source community through several web apps. My career began at OFGO Studio, where I led the modernization of our existing infrastructure with software tools, transforming us into one of the most efficient companies in our domain. My educational journey is unique: I graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), complemented by the first two years of Computer Science study, and a specialized software engineering track from Launch School.
