I have been a Technical Team Lead for the last 7+ years. I am looking for a similar role. I have mainly been focused on full stack/devops web, but have worked on a few iOS apps and managed the Unreal/Unity VR team at my previous employer.

Hi there! I'm a self-taught programmer, I've been programming using the above technologies for over 7 years (though I'm primarily a C#/.NET developer).

I've developed various projects/tools over the past few years that are useful for me but I think others would find interest in as well, some of the projects I've built/worked on include:

- EditorEX, a mod for the hit VR game "Beat Saber" that enhances the newly added official 3D beatmap editor and adds some well-desired features.

- Reality, a Unreal Engine mod loader written in C# that works by hosting CLR and uses native delegates, etc.

- osu.Launcher, a program which runtime patches the rhythm game called "osu!" to let it run on unofficial servers.

You can check out all of these projects over on my GitHub, feel free to reach out over email if you're interested! :)

Looking for any position in AML (especially fintech/blockchain AML) /or/ edge computing (Cloudflare workers/WASM). I'm only interested in working with Rust/Typescript in these two particular fields. Open to any particular arrangements (contracting/travel/part-time...)

Long time full stack developer looking for interesting challenges, preferably mid-short term, part-time contracts. I'm very adept at jumping into existing code bases or launching new ideas from scratch. My two most recent positions were a six month contract at AWS making a new console and two and a half years with a new fintech startup called Philanthropi. During the pandemic I also created a walking tour app of Vancouver called VanWalks.

Back End I'm familiar with all kinds of BE stacks. I have experience with php, .NET, Rails, WordPress, and SharePoint (but please, no SharePoint). VanWalks uses DynamoDB and a serverless stack from AWS.

Front End Websites have been my bread and butter for 13 years. I started making sites for my bands before the MySpace era, and never looked back. From static sites to full single page apps, if it's in the browser, I can work with it. I also have experience with SEO and Web Marketing. Most recently I've done a lot of React. VanWalks also uses React Native and Expo.

I recently have opened a music school with some partners, so I need some flexibility around that. I also want to block off time to continue work on my app. I’m hoping to find a position that will see these projects as assets, not distractions. I’ve also been doing bike tours over the summer, and will continue with that until the tourist season calms down. So I probably won’t start any contracts until late September.

I’m a Fullstack Software Engineer who brings a passion for solving problems and delivering results through code! I’m constantly learning new things and getting to apply them to interesting problems. My latest work developing Sentinel, an open-source, self-hosted, platform as a service, is a great example of doing just that.

I'm really proud of leading the design of Sentinel's core architecture which provides the flexibility to be deployed in any cloud provider. This involved automating the configuration and provisioning of compute instances with Terraform and Ansible. I also played a significant role in developing Sentinel’s command line interface using the OCLIF framework and TypeScript, as well as designing a RESTful API written in Node.js, and much more!

If I seem like a good fit feel free to shoot me an email. I look forward to hearing from you!

I've worked for the last 12 years as a full stack web developer. That includes building backends, frontends, APIs, data ingestion tools, infrastructure in AWS.

I've worked in various domains, such as education and biotech. I'd like to contribute to something that improves the world in some way. That might be the obvious stuff like helping students learn or finding treatments for cancer, or it might be something less glamorous like working on database technologies. It probably isn't working on blockchain or in fintech.

I enjoy working in cross functional teams: that is, I like teams that have all the skills needed to consistently deliver business value, whether that's typical software roles like developers and designers, or something more domain-specific such as pharmacologists.

If you're just looking for someone to pick up tickets and churn out code, I'm probably not a good fit. I'm interested in the wider team and company goals and strategy, and would like to work in a team where everyone can contribute to product thinking, rather than (for instance) having a product manager that writes all of the tickets. In the past, I've built internal tools and worked with the domain experts that use the tools to work out what problem to solve next, and what the next most valuable increment to build would be.

I'm also interested in how people and teams collaborate. For instance, in my experience, meetings are often unstructured chatting, or have one or a small number do the vast majority of the talking. This means that many people don't meaningfully contribute -- frustrating for them, and a loss to the group as a whole -- and decisions aren't made, aren't clear, aren't understood, or aren't widely supported. I've successfully used techniques such as those in the Gamestorming book and Liberating Structures to add structure that allows everyone to contribute, for a range of options to be discussed and considered, while reaching a clear decision at the end.

I've tended to work in smaller organisations since much of the above tends to happen naturally in those circumstances, but I'd be open to working anywhere that's a good fit and treats its people as more than fungible units of resource production.
