Krydus | Sr. Frontend Engineer | Full-Time | Remote (US)

I'm Derek of Emerald AI (emerald-ai.info), and we’re building a platform to clean, balance, and annotate data for rapidly deploying Computer Vision (CV) models. We provide an intuitive flow that guides users to create the highest quality datasets which in turn create models that solve their problems. In the age of Deep Learning data is the code that programs AI and that is why we take a data centric approach. We use a combination of active, Bayesian, and meta-learning to make this possible with very little labeled data, as much as 100x less.

We are looking for someone experienced to take ownership of early planing, designing, building, and implementing the user interface and to be the team lead for our other frontend hires. You will work closely with both the backend developers who produce the APIs that you will use, and the Machine Learning team to develop a workflow and data visualizaitons that are finely tuned for our users. You’ll offer mentorship and guidance to your teammates on the best ways to design and implement software solutions across all of our products and you will be an experienced voice that helps define our systems architecture, technology stack and technology roadmap.

The team keeps things simple and functional. We take pride in combining professionalism, trust, and very few meetings. We are remote first and operate with async communications where possible. Currently we have employees in all US time zones including Hawaii, and work hours are very flexible.

Currently we are hiring a Senior Frontend UI/UX Engineer who has experience with React JS additional experience with graphs and data visualizations is a big plus.

You can email me at dgoddeau(at)krydus.com with "HN" in the subject.

Orchest | Front-end Engineer | The Netherlands | Full-Time | Remote (UTC +-3)

Orchest lets data scientists focus on what matters. It’s our mission to free data science teams from infrastructure tasks and complexity. We make the data platform team obsolete by automating the plumbing and making it easy to work in a cloud native way as a data scientist.

Today, we’re focused on drastically simplifying how batch data science pipelines are built by focusing on intuitive abstractions, seamless integration of the canonical open source data science stack (e.g. Jupyter notebook support), and single-click productionization.

To that end we’re looking for a Front-end/TypeScript Engineer that will help us develop the user facing parts. Are you someone that gets excited thinking about combining a clean React based component hierarchy, TypeScript, Web Workers, and CRDT sync to create a perfect user experience?

We raised ($4M+) from top investors like Gradient Ventures (Google) and Basis Set Ventures (SF-based AI & ML fund). In addition, we're a fully remote company (team of 8) with async communication to allow everyone to get into flow state and do their best work.

More details about our open source project can be found here: https://github.com/orchest/orchest or check out our AngelList listing https://angel.co/company/orchest/jobs/1690887-front-end-engi...

Interested? Reach out to me at rick@orchest.io.
