I'm Ed, and I'm an engineer on the DevEx team here - you might have seen me around HN here and there. ;) This is, and I have to stress that I'm not kidding because everybody says this sort of thing, for real my favorite job that I've ever had. The team here is mind-blowingly smart, there is a real and concerted focus on not just competence but on the human side of things; one of the company's core values is "be human" and I thought it was marketing stuff 'til I joined and learned to my surprise that it is emphatically not. The tech stack actually manages to balance cool with useful, too. It's a multi-cloud environment running Kubernetes on AWS and GCP, with Elixir, Golang, and some NodeJS (some JS, mostly TypeScript), plus React and TypeScript for all the usual bells and whistles.

We're looking for a senior fullstack engineer (although with a heavy focus on backend work) to help us build the pipes to support a huge amount of growth. We’re a react frontend in the middle of a Typescript migration with a .Net backend we’re looking to port over to node. There are lots of opportunities to collaborate on big engineering and product challenges.

We have an MVP built that is almost ready for launch on app store developed in React Native, using RoR and graphQL. Tested with internal users, just finalising a few silver linings.

As a technical co-founder, you'll be responsible for overlooking the whole technology infrastructure and making informed, shared decisions on the best route for the company, envisioning where such decisions will take us. You will have a say on all future endeavors and will be fully accountable for the code you produce, as well as for inspecting the code that future hires will submit for review.
