I'm a full stack database and content at scale expert for data driven and SEO websites. While my core tech stack is C# / ASP.net Core on SQL Server / MSSQL, I'm also a dab hand at PHP and MySQL / MariaDB, developing in both of these stacks since the late 90s in one form or another. I lean towards hosting on CentOS Linux, I'm also comfortable with Ubuntu and Windows.

I spent five years as lead developer at https://broadbandnow.com (C#, SQL Server, and whole lot of data engineering!), and recently created the backend for https://www.ami-archive.com, along with the API for its iPhone app (PHP and MariaDB to meet an explicit total low cost of ownership requirement. Lots of image metadata processing fun along the way).

My hobby projects include https://crimerate.co.uk (C# and SQL Server on Linux, GIS with Mapbox + custom mbtiles for extruded polygon maps) and https://fairinternetreport.com (even more geospatial fun and ~800,000,000 rows of data crunched nightly).
