The Role:

We are looking for a software engineer with 3 or more years of experience in full stack development. This engineer will join the business engineering team and collaborate in the architecting, design and implementation of internal facing features and services.

This role requires familiarity with technologies that are common on both the front-end and back-end, including operational aspects, scalability, databases, caches, search engines, etcetera. As a member of the Business Engineering team you’ll find yourself working on many aspects of the business with a specific focus on developing for and scaling our internal teams in addition to automating existing manual processes.

Responsibilities:

● Help maintain and add features to the administrative website used to operate the Peerspace marketplace (Clojurescript/Fulcro)

● Add features to existing backend services and create new services (Clojure and Node.js)

● Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to complete projects and solve problems

● Implement 3rd party integrations for things like fraud prevention and risk analysis

Qualifications:

● Minimum 3 years of work experience

● Experience with JavaScript, Clojure, or Clojurescript

● Working with a modern front-end framework like Fulcro, React or Angular

● Experience with API design and micro services

● Ability to work across the stack

● Likes problem solving

● Can think in the short, mid and long terms

● Willingness to use and learn new technologies

BLOCKCHAIN ENGINEER: You live in Solidity because you're convinced Ethereum is the future. You know exactly why zkRollups will change the game and you can't wait to get your hands on a zkEVM. You're comfortable with building+deploying advanced, upgradable smart contracts with ethers.js and other web3 tools.

WEB ENGINEER: You've got metric tons of experience with React, Vue or Svelte, and you're curious about working with SvelteKit in particular. You're comfortable with Realtime APIs and/or GraphQL. Hopefully you like TypeScript. You're able to take designs and bring them to life with animations and transitions. Bonus if you've worked with three.js or babylon.

IOS ENGINEER: You love SwiftUI, understand unidirectional data flow architecture and know your way around UIKit too. You're able to take design comps and bring them to life with animations, transitions, and pixel perfection.

ANDROID ENGINEER: You love Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, because you hate Java and want to build modern android apps. You're intrigued with Compose Multiplatform and are challenged by the idea of building a first-class, native Windows desktop app with the same Kotlin codebase.
