PRODUCT MANAGER (SENIOR) | Claimer | London, UK | Full-time | Remote friendly within EU | https://www.claimer.com

Claimer is hiring for its first Product Manager!

Claimer is genuinely disrupting a niche area of fintech - R&D tax credits - which is going to provide us with a springboard to a bigger vision. We are the only tech company in the space so far which means there is massive opportunity. We've grown double digit percentages every quarter since launching in April 2019 on just a pre-seed round, got to profit in Q4 just gone, and will be doing a bigger seed round this quarter to really take things to the next level.

We're looking for an exceptionally talented Product Manager (Senior) to take the product reigns from the CEO (me) on our forthcoming product launch and beyond. We want someone that has worked in a fast-growing early-stage startup before so can hit the ground running. The role will require you to wear all the PM hats initially, before making hires to build out a product team as needed.

Remote friendly with perks, competitive salary of £50-70k (dependant on experience), plus vested share options equivalent to 0.5% of the company (worth 6 figures at current valuation).

Check out the role here: https://claimer.breezy.hr/p/5559d313e8ab01 If you know someone that would be a fit let me know - if we hire them we'll pay you £1,000 / $1,350.

Will not offer VISAs I'm afraid.

FullStory | Sr iOS Engineer | Atlanta or REMOTE (US) | https://www.fullstory.com/

FullStory for Mobile Apps is an analytics/session replay framework that records the app's draw calls - omitting anything that is potentially private - then allows the sessions to be analyzed and replayed in our web app.

It helps our customers narrow down where their users are getting stuck, and what steps reproduce bugs and edge cases.

Our mobile codebase has shared code written in Rust, and then iOS code in Objective-C and Android code in Java. On the server/web side, we use Go to process the data and TypeScript for the web app.

We're looking for one more engineer with deep knowledge of iOS to help us continue iterating and improving.

As one of my co-workers put it:

> Work on state-of-the-art recording of iOS apps to provide a rich, privacy-respecting analytics experience. Reverse engineer iOS frameworks to learn how they work and how they can be used efficiently. Use low level capabilities of the Objective-C runtime to solve problems unique to iOS.

You can also see our team manager's post from the other month for another take on things: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=24969524

I'm one of the engineers on the team; if you have any question, feel free to comment here or email me directly: nathan@[company site]. If you'd just like to apply, please use the link below.

The company as a whole is awesome. Hands-down my favorite job in my ~15 year career. Smart, humble people. A focus on empathy, clarity, and "bionics" (e.g. automation, but more than just that). Competitive pay and solid benefits paired with a great work-life balance. And more than just "remote friendly", FullStory strives to be "remote equal". (We were about 20% remote last year, it's more like 80-90% now.) Check out https://bwamp.me/ for one example of that.

EShop Specialist | University of Michigan | Ann Arbor, MI

The EShop Specialist is an electronics technician within the Chemistry Department. The person in this position is responsible for both fixing old instruments (many of which are no longer manufactured), and building new ones. You will see a wide variety of project, and get to run a nice shop fully stocked with electronics parts, and some machining equipment including a Bridgeport mill. This position primarily works for the Chemistry department, but takes work from across the college enabling cutting edge research.

This is a posting for a sister-shop to my office in the college of Literature, Sciences and The Arts (LSA) at University of Michigan. I am a programmer in the college, and we previously worked closely with the person in this shop when they reached their limit programming microcontrollers like Teensy, Arudino or similar products to control equipment. I am not directly associated with hiring for this, but I desperately want it filled, and would be happy to answer any questions you have about my work with the previous person here.

Don't tell them I told you, but this position is vacant, needed, and you are not likely to have much competition to fill it, so they may be flexible on the requirements.
