We build in Scala using Play or http4s, with Cats, FS2 and Cats Effect. Our services run on AWS ECS, and we heavily use many other AWS services including DynamoDB, DAX, Lambda, Kinesis, Elasticsearch and more.
You'll excel in this role if you have deep functional Scala experience, ideally with Cats Effect/ZIO, and love digging into new, previously unsolved problems of scale together with our team and partners at AWS, Google, Apple and Microsoft.

• The ability to stitch together many different services and processes together even if they have not worked with them before.
• Empathy with their users and are stewards of crafting great experiences.
• Skills for upholding best practices in engineering, security, and design.
