We are looking for a talented Backend Developer with Infrastructure experience who has a passion for delivering amazing user experiences. In this role, you will help us reimagine and simplify the real estate journey by building ambitious products and features for our users.
Responsibilities:
Work on our existing Ruby on Rails codebase to build new APIs and maintain existing ones
Work on further developing our Kubernetes & AWS infrastructure to optimize performance, efficiency and stability.
Collaborate closely with the engineering, product and design teams to assist in product development
Be accountable for the backend APIs and infrastructure by building, testing, deploying and monitoring to ensure a reliable user experience
Implement unit and end to end testing
Develop and maintain technical documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science or similar degree
3+ years of Ruby on Rails experience, mostly version 5.0 or above (we’re on 6.0)
2+ years of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS experience
Experience with PostgreSQL
Ability to take full ownership of assigned projects and delivery in an agile environment
Familiarity with building Ruby gems
Experience building APIs in Ruby on Rails
Experience in Terraform, Ansible, ElasticSearch, Redis, Golang, and JavaScript is a plus
