The Position: The Software Engineer will work closely with other developers and management team to design and develop software solutions that expand our current Rails-based financial services and products, with a focus on new FinTech integrations. SolStar Finance is creating a cryptocurrency community token trading platform to bring social tokens to Discord communities. Built on a high efficiency blockchain technology, Solana, we can provide high throughput with fractions of a cent fees to community-centered liquid fungible markets.

Founded in May 2021 and based in San Francisco, SolStar Finance successfully raised a seed-stage fundraising round at the beginning of March led by Angel Squad and its collaborative partners. Our founding team comprises software engineers from Google and YC startups.

This is a great role for somebody who loves learning new technologies, high impact software engineering, and building full features – from DB to service and service to user interface, with help and support along the way. This is the first engineering-hire outside the founding team, you’ll be working alongside myself to build out important features. We do weekly tech updates and announcements, so there are opportunities to become a technical voice in our community of over 10,000 Discord members.

Tech stack includes:
