You need to know that you are a child of a loving (just and merciful) God, a Heavenly Father who has a plan, that there is a reason we live in a world where things can be very hard, that this life is not the end, and that eventually, it will indeed all be sorted out. Be patient (easy to say, I know, but I have some experience to back it up). Avoid things that deny you of opportunities, and which you alone cannot un-d…

Ah yes, the absentee father theory Many stone age adherents believe there's an invisible jewish guy in outer space listening to us. Millions have been killed by these fanatics through the millenia. Apparently you're supposed to take some solace from that...

(I posted a better answer at the other, similar reply to my comment.)

If you haven't tried going to a naturopathic/holistic doctor, that might help. If you've already been to that sort of physician, you might want to get a second opinion. It sounds like you've already covered the basics like getting your vitamin D levels and vitamin B levels checked. You might be one doctor visit away from a permanent solution to a temporary problem. When I found my current physician, I learned how med…

"It wasn't that hard for me to find a quality physician." Any tips? I keep swinging and missing.

It sounds like you've exhausted things like recommendations from people you know in real life and on social media. There are a ton of Facebook groups for any and all medical situations. People in a suitable FB group might be able to provide you with all sorts of advice. If you live in a densely populated area, that can make it harder to find a good doctor. In areas with less population density, the pace of life is slower, and there's less competition for resources (and health care is a resource). If you live in the USA, you can browse the link below where you can set the location and the types of expertise you want. I hope you quickly find a doctor who can solve your problem. In the past, I've had my own medical struggles, and on multiple occasions I've been astounded by what finally solved a seemingly intractable medical condition.

I will definitely say that healing has a spiritual dimension to it, and it is a thing that happens to people who have had the worst kinds of trauma.

The way it seems to go is that people find others who can help in their healing and there may in fact be a "God consciousness" at play.

It's also true that people find other labels for the same thing, some call it Shamanism, it goes all the way back before Christianity, back to the times when all we had were tribal rituals.

It can happen in any culture under any belief system, and those who have seen it know what it is. The common theme is always one of giving, that by helping others you indirectly heal your own trauma.

To be clear, I'm not saying this doesn't happen under the Judeo-Christian paradigm. But that's all it is, a framework for accessing a phenomenon that is done from one human being to another. Here, now, and in this life.

And there is so much more. We believe there are records for Christianity going back to Adam. But to believe that, one has to find out whether some other things are true. I have learned that one can do so. It puts many things into perspective, the first parts of the promise fulfilled, of peace in this life, and eternal life in the world to come. I know it is true, having examined it over time, and tested it in sufficient detail, for myself.

You are not the first to face such challenges and to consider suicide.

R. Buckminster Fuller, one of the most influential writers of the 20th Century and a favorite of the hippie/Whole Earth Catalog movement, faced such a moment on the banks of Lake Michigan when he considered drowning himself. This was when he was young and before he reached international fame for his ideas in architecture and philosophy.

I recommend reading Chapter 8, “Dialectic by Lake Michigan”, from the book *Buckminster Fuller: At Home in the Universe* to understand the reasoning he himself developed that night that led him to choose life and thus become the global celebrity the world knows him as.

Because of the good fight the Internet Archive is winning to make back-catalog in-print books available for digital checkout, you can visit archive.org right now, register, and read the chapter for yourself.

This person clearly has severe trauma that's leading to suicidality. I don't think giving up carbs will help.
