HI - I am Marius, Head of engineering for the cities (=transport data) team @Citymapper, responsible to expand our transport data coverage around the world.

We help people navigate their cities, getting them from A to B across all modes of transport - from trains to buses to cycles to electric scooters to walking and more in 70 cities (and growing, we are expanding). Join us and work on an app that is a daily use-case for you, your friends and millions of city-dwellers around the world.

Despite / because of transport services around the world running reduced services we are expanding our engineering team (and other product and business related roles) significantly in the coming 6 months to expand our coverage and features - see all positions posted here: https://citymapper.com/jobs

A few engineering jobs I'd like to call out in particular:

- We are looking for multiple full-stack engineers. We have a user facing web app - however a lot of the time you would be working on our internal tools products that help us build high quality transport data. You should have experience in backend tech (Python or similar, Node, deployment of modern web apps, ...) and frontend (Javascript, React, UX thinking). https://citymapper.workable.com/jobs/1392898

- We are increasing our coverage of transport data around the world. For that we are building scalable systems allowing us to deal with messy datasets and build tools allowing us to maintain a high transport data quality while expanding to new countries. https://citymapper.workable.com/jobs/1459093

- iOS Developer: We're looking for experienced developers who enjoy building high-quality custom UIs to help expand our award-winning app: https://citymapper.workable.com/jobs/7972

Qualia | Fulltime | SF/Remote (all currently remote due to COVID-19) | Full-stack developers | https://www.qualia.com/careers/

Qualia (qualia.com) is a startup making web applications for real estate professionals with a goal of making it easier to buy and sell homes in the US. We just raised our series D, hit over $1B in valuation, and we're growing! We're looking for full-stack software engineers at all levels—no need to have any prior real estate experience, you'll learn all about the industry on the job!

Our engineering culture is collaborative and friendly, and we make beautiful products that our customers love to use. Qualia engineers work cross-functionally with design, product, and our customer-facing teams to imagine and build new experiences for our growing user base. We're looking for generalists—our engineers do everything from user interface design to data syncing across distributed systems.

Ultimately, we want to make it possible to buy a house completely online. Solving the real estate coordination problem (transactions are incredibly complex) makes for some really fun engineering and design challenges, and opportunities to make the process better for everyone involved.
